Our Purpose is to give disadvantaged low-income communities, a greater opportunity to realize their true potentials in life, by providing nutritional meals, educational services and extracurricular activities that exercise and enhance their minds and bodies. Our focused staff takes great pride in conveying awesome services of quality, which promotes healthy minded individuals with a solid vision of our future and a strong commitment to our sustainable business practices.  We are poised to continue to deliver reliable, consistent services, to all communities in need of the services we offer. 

Our Mission is to meet the needs of hungry people by providing them with nutritious meals and snacks when other resources are not available.  While offering services and models that are specifically designed to help end hunger, our objective is to provide at least one healthy meal a day to those in need.  

The Services we offer: 

The Snack Program In many cases, when the school bell rings for dismissal, children have no place to go.  Our organization has developed locations for children to offer free snacks at different locations in The North Texas area for ages 1 to 18. The young children will receive free educational materials while they enjoy a daily free snack.  The goal is to improve and maintain their health, by providing a fun nutritional snack to promote and develop good eating habits offered through our Snack program. 

The Summer Food Service Program was created to fill the nutritional gap for students, that lost their access to free and reduced-priced meals during the summer months.  Our organization provides nutritional continuity to children throughout the summer.  The Food Is Now Served, participates as a Summer Food Feeding organization, that partners with The Texas Department of Agriculture to feed as many children as possible ages 1 to 18. We serve free lunch and snacks at various locations throughout The North Texas area.  Our goal is to have the children return from the summer break, well-nourished and ready to learn. 

The Backpacks for kids we will distribute requested backpacks on Fridays, full of kid-friendly non-perishable items, which provides two-thirds of their nutritional needs over the weekend. Each backpack sent home upon request, includes roughly four pounds of food and features items such as milk, juice, fruit and cereal bars and trail mix.

 Meals on Wheels, many people struggle with not knowing where the next meal is coming from.  Our goal is to provide in-home delivery of hot, nutritious meals to aged and infirm individuals. Each meal is delivered with a smile and kind words.  For many recipients this may be the only contact they have outside of their home on a regular basis.  Contact us our organization is always seeking locations to partner with to feed as many people as possible.
